Exactly, and just like the reversing sensors on cars these days (If you notice them) they are quite small and could quite easily be placed where the LED's are and instead of beeping it will tell the drone controller there is an object within whatever distance they detect to and to stop or move the other way a slight bit.

I imagine that if the sensors for a car are 0.5m then the Roam-e which is way smaller will be over the moon with 0.5m detection
