Ultracharge has two types of lithium ion battery technology.
One offers a significantly faster charge, improved safety and longer life.
The second, is all about more power, and less of the highly expensive cobalt component found in traditional Li batteries.
It may have been posted before, refer to video below from back in May where UTR CEO Kobi talks about advantages over it's competitors.
UTR has a 20% advantage already in terms of voltage. In high voltage cathode batteries the average is 3.7-3.8 volts up to 4 voltage. UTR has 4.7 volts which in EV terms could mean 20% more distance or 20% lighter for the same amount of power.
Interestingly Kobi discusses that in order for them to push this forward even further, they need to have a production line so they can supply commercial grade batteries for potential customers to trial. The production line is envisaged to come by leveraging existing facilities when there is an X amount of order from a customer. And... this just happened with PT Garda Persada two weeks ago!
