Yes I get the first mover advantage but given there is such a large runway and the profit margins are so high I cannot understand why another fintech would not consider getting into the space, especially if I that fintech was offering some credit type product it would seem obvious to copy and maybe improve on Afterpays model. Its like saying that the trend in digital only banks will not have competitors because the existing digital only banks have already moved and have customers. If they had something that was not able to be replicated like patented technology then maybe it would be different. i am not saying that wont be successful just that surely competition would be lured into such a lucrative space ?
