My take on the reason PAR and the Sydney uni
team apparently do not communicate on their
respective trials, is that they both want to
protect their patch and not give publicity to a
potential competitor.

As far as CYP is concerned, IMO they are not
competent to run a chook raffle. However, by
good luck or good management, they have
retained the Cymerus SC tech, and David
Hunter and his team have agreed to conduct
the knee OA trial, free of cost to the company,
except for the supply of the stem cells.

It is over 18 months since the trial
commenced, but there have been no
progress reports in that time that I know of.
IMO they are either having trouble
recruiting, or feel they are not obligated to
report because there are no shareholders
and are government funded.

I have a small shareholding in CYP (as I think
others here on PAR) pretty well just on the
basis of the OA trial.

Although this trial does not have the formal
blessing of the FDA, if successful it is likely
to carry a fair bit of weight, because of the
high profile conductors.
