In 2018 FBR tried to behave like big FK, when they got nothing to show. WTF FBR Australia / Global, hired Simon Amos, did a sweet F-all money wasted etc.

Just get me a boring rectangluar house that can be build fast and fit in regular square / rectangular furnitures. Thank you very much.

With all that said, ICON's arm is just proto type. FBR's is commercial ready. How long did ICON take to print this? I dont know Weeks? Surface area wise FBR will take just days.

The biggest drawback for 3D concrete is the concrete, the mix, the material science, its a new tech / industry by itself. But it WILL catch up.

FBR is ready to fire out centuries tested blocks and brick. Using traditional materials, slotting in nicely with existing construction methods. Still far ahead, but nobody after seeing this can say competition hasnt reared its head in the horizon.

FBR, wake up. Get to the USA SOON. Just show the world you can build the structure of a 4 bedroom house in less than 2 working days.

I dont know if ICON have a superior marketing team. But they sure DO have tremendous advantage in exposure and access to capital just being in the US.

One more thing to add.

3D concrete printers will of course try to sell the curves as being cool and "futuristic".

The truth is simply it is not possible or very hard for the rotary / pivotal nature of the 3D printing arm or base to print fully straight or right angles.

One day when they can, you can bet they will fkg do it.

Do you want to live in a circular house? Buy circular furnitures? Have a circular garage? Drive a UFO disc instead of a Toyota?

FFS.
