I don’t think this is the correct comparison. I understand why people think we are competing with ICON but we are not. 3D printing has almost 0 market share currently, it has to convince people that it is a good product. It may do that, who knows? I personally think it will take a while and the toothpaste product is not for everyone.
FBR currently has almost no competitor in the automated block world. Bricks are here to stay and Hadrian could potentially be part of the infrastructure. ICON could turn into a 100 billion dollar master of all things 3D printing and it may not put a dent in FBR potential at all.
the only point that I think ICON competes with FBR is for attention and marketing. In that realm, ICON is Netflix and FBR is a VCR recording of home and away in 1998.
