I wasn't joking, pre-covid, I've already told people the only way for Australia to be great is to actually have lower electricity prices. Its not just manufacturing. All these "EV", where you think they going to get their electricity from? Its currently 60% from COAL. Its exactly what Tucker said, we have one of highest deposits of Iron Ore, and yet, we have zero steel mills. We have one of the highest thermal coal for electricity generations, yet our electricity prices are 30C a kW/hr!? Its fine for having a zero emission nuclear powered sub. But its not fine for us normal mortals on land.
