Emite is pretty straight-forward as far as I can tell. Best-in-class, top of AMS and Genesys markets. Kicking a and taking names. As far as I know, nobody has this level of software that can handle as many seats and is as adjustable and tailored to call centers. Snare is a little different. Here is a snippet of an email response I rcvd (I won't disclose the sender) I received when I invested well over a year ago now to nearly your exact question:

"Snare has a stack of potential and are focussed on maximising the opportunity we see in the market. Security monitoring and analytics are multi billion dollars markets. There are a lot of players in the security monitoring market and in the logging space and its very fragmented with no-one holding a market leading position. At the top end you have players like Splunk and IBM in the SIEM/ Analytics space. Other competitors we see regularly are the likes of Solarwinds, Sumologic and Logrythm and at the bottom end NXLog and others. Snare has been in this market for 20+ years and we are constantly innovating around the product. One of our key value propositions is the simplicity of our implementation and management. There is a massive shortage of cyber skills globally and Snare makes it easy for companies to deploy a solution that delivers comprehensive security monitoring, meets compliance requirements and to be able to do that quickly and at an affordable price. Traditionally monitoring solutions like Snare have been both expensive (and many still are) and are complex and difficult to implement and maintain requiring specialised skills and resources. We have a great video that shows how much easier Snare is to deploy than NXLog. It’s a great example of why you would buy us vs them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGg2fF0GH8E&t=3s Snare can operate in top secret air gapped networks (its fully self contained and does not need to connect to the internet – which is why the military like us), on premise or in the cloud. Its covers all end points – Windows, Linux, Unix, OSX, Desktops, Network devices), it has very comprehensive log parsing capability (normalising security data from multiple systems), great compression capability (50x) to enable effective and affordable long term storage (to meet compliance needs) and is great for threat hunting through comprehensive reporting, alerting, correlation and dynamic search capabilities. We also provide additional value like File and Registry Monitoring and Database Activity Monitoring which are often separate solutions on their own. We have more great new capability coming over the next 6 months and are ramping our sales and marketing capability globally. You may have seen the recent announcement about our partnership with Vambrace. Partnerships like these with a number of top secret cleared resources enable us to get people representing Snare in to those agencies in the US that require high levels of security clearances. We have a significant pipeline of opportunities where we need this level of access and we don’t have enough of our own staff with these clearance levels. Vambrace have signed as a reseller and will be getting a margin on any deals we fulfil through them. I hope this gives some insight. "
