Thanks. Hahaha, I sample vanill slices everywhere, and use them as a barometer of a towns bakery, much the same as I do with a chicken parma for their pubs. A lot of places in NW Vic enter their vanilla slices in competitions. Remarkable ones I've tried: Mildura Bread n Butter, Halls Gap bakery, Yea bakery, Meeniyan Bread n Pickles. My wife reckons I use them tovwash d own my Lipitor tablets.
