Hi Ice never disgard Abbott labs , they might have something simmilar but how well is their anticalcification treatment working and does it have the Data to compete with the ADAPT . At the end of the day Abbott’s are far more cashed up than any of their competitors and if they see a definite advantage in acquiring AVRs TAVR and ADAPT IP they could still possibly be a player . Just think to yourself , how much money Abbots have spent to develop their TAVR ? It would not be anywhere near 1 Billion . IMO Abbott’s are not there to run second or third in a 10 Billion dollar market . If AVRs TAVR has substantial benefits to theirs Abbots will be in the game. Just bear in mind Abbots would be the best positioned to take advantage of the ADAPT platform as well . I am still not discounting a company none of us are even thinking of acquiring AVR . Exciting times ahead GLTATH

True, and also, as with many large companies, it is sometime worth their time and money to consolidate competing products.
