It isn’t easy to value PAC’s stake in IFP, but here is news showing a competitor valuing a $USD100B broker at $USD1.1B including earn out provision:

IFP has approximately $USD10B, placing a fair valuation of $USD110M on the business. PAC’s stake is 24.9%, meaning if a transaction were to take place at recent valuation then PAC would receive $USD27M or $AUD42M. Not bad for an approximate $USD5M investment.
