coles woolies competition is already factored into share price.
In fact the bits of the Coles empire that compete with HVN that is Kmart and Officeworks will face price pressures as they import from China and will face exchange rate movements pucshing their prices up, and the Woolworths competitor is Big W in same psoition.
The food/grocery businesses do not compete with HVN.
My guess is that Coles and woolworths will concentrate on their core business and not copete with HVN more than they are now.
JB Hi Fi is a serious competitor but if Strathfield goes and with Betta gone, more dominoes must fall.
HVN wins simply by survivorship.
This is where gerry's strenght is.
