I think that it's less about the financial position of Identitii and more about not underestimating the 'pull' that existing vendors can have. Having worked in banking for many years, it is not uncommon for a decision to lean towards a known vendor with what may be considered a less than perfect solution versus the risk (perceived or otherwise) associated with trying something new, even if the new option is considered to be a superior offering.

On that basis, I would reduce the probability of one of the big 4 Aussie banks going with Identitii, whereas smaller banks and local subsidiaries of international banks will have less in their tech bag to draw upon and a ready-to-deploy, fit-for-purpose solution should be highly attractive.
