Monash Uni noticed this inflammatory response when it did trials on BTM, personally I believe that the dermis recognizes that the epidermis has been damaged and increases blood flow and and nerve ending growth which tells the epidermis to grow again at a faster rate than normal to repair damage and thus protect the dermis, much the same thing happens with severe sunburn ( the redness), once the epidermis grows sufficiently to protect the dermis the inflammatory response decreases, that is what I believe is happening, the BTM itself just helps that to happen much earlier and easier than what is possible with other inferior products, simply because it is a better scaffold, once the BTM has done it's work as a scaffold to repair the dermis it does dissipate over time leaving only the body's own dermis to talk to the epidermis, I think once the skin stem cells are placed over the dermis and respond to it's signalling to reproduce more skin then the BTM has done it's work.
