They've always said that it was a 3-5 year plan and their own sales team would fill the gap until that time.
I worked in a very similar situation and it took several years for teams to incorporate it into their product offering and then understand how to sell it. Each needed quite a major win they could use as a reference point for further sales... that in itself is a long process.
