I have compiled a list of five of the best gold miners/producers over 1 billion market cap. In no particular order:
Newmont goldcorp corporation, NYSE:NEM
Barrick gold corporation, TSX:ABX
Newcrest Mining, ASX:NCM
Agnico Eagle Mines limited, NYSE:AEM
Royal gold incorporated, NasdaqGS:RGLD
And also five under a billion market cap (not all producing yet). In no particular order:
Seabridge gold incorporated, TSX:SEA
Gold Road Resources, ASX:GOR
Dundee Precious Metals, TSX
PM
Semafo inc., TSX:SMF
New Gold inc., TSX:NGD
Now my question is, if you were to pick the top 2 in each category to invest in, which ones would you pick and why. Would like some feedback and to see which way people would lean.
Any other insights or opinions are welcomed. Shaping up to be a good 12-24 months for gold companies in my opinion.
