UPDATE – NACC REVIEW NOW UNDERWAY
After 257 days of silence, the NACC finally issued what I call the Whitewash Determination — a “Decision Outcome” that astonishingly avoids the key issue I raised: the refinancing of NAIF’s $610 million concessional loan to Genex Power Ltd.
That refinancing enabled a foreign entity, J-Power, to take control of a taxpayer-backed asset, without scrutiny by NAIF, ASIC, FIRB, or the NACC.
I have now formally requested a review of Brereton’s Decision — Reference RWF202551753231-2517 — and provided detailed evidence to support it, including the annotated FOI decision letter and correspondence to the NACC Inspector.
These documents are also being shared with MPs, including Dr Helen Haines. Whether they choose to act or not, they cannot later claim they were unaware.
I continue to believe this matter reveals a serious failure of public administration — and possibly corruption — that deserves far more public attention than it has received.
I welcome others to examine the record, ask questions, and press for the transparency this country deserves.

While I contemplate what further documents I will post I welcome others to examine the record, ask questions, and press for the transparency this country deserves.
