To me this looks like you are avoiding to do something unless you are covered and in a crowd.
For a class action one has to go down the legal way with city lawyers and the like.
I see no chance of that ever happening.
The ASIC way is straightforward - they are required to look at your complaint and make a decision. Whether this decision will be in your favour is not known until ASIC replies to the complaint.
The point here really is: STOP WHINGING AND COMPLAINING and instead get on and try to get the matter investigated. I believe my suggestion re template is a sound one that can easily be adopted by anyone wishing to do so.
FYI: Years ago I have taken on Telstra in the Small Claims Tribunal and got them to back down - which does mean: I did win. All it did cost me was less than $50 (for the lodgement of the claim) and some of my time to attend the tribunal hearings stating my case.
