JRV, back around 2006/07 there was a fully functional Radial-based container locking device prototype, with GPS link into a back-end system.
Done for and field-trialed by a US company, but the commercial arrangement fell through (with some nastiness afterwards - I'm unsure of the eventual outcome).
I have trolled through annual reports, shareholder presentations, press releases etc and compiled an extensive list of earlier endeavours made public by TZ. Just about every initiative announced recently is a re-birth of one of the earlier initiatives.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with that - the ideas looked good then, and look good now - even better if we can convert them to products, and capitalize on the earlier work.
But best to maintain a perspective on what the new board are initiating, as opposed to re-hashing. So credit can be given where credit is due.
