People are expecting big shocks in the markets in ist week or so of March. If things go like crash of 2008 then gold will be smashed down with the general market before May bounce. If gold finally breaks away from dollar link it may be time to buy now. We are certainl;y due a seasonal high for mining shares like Newcrest some time in 1 st half of year. Newcrest has certainly been held back
by bad news & behind -the-scenes market manipulation. Just my personal view on things. I won't add to my Newcrest mini hoard till I look out at the financial
wasteland & see real gloom & doom all around. I f you remember in 08 all the Aussie stalwarts came crashing to the ground- ANZ,RIO etc. Something similar this way comes.
