You guys realise that KAR are not the operators right?? Conoco runs the drill rig...
And yes, any fluid you put down the hole will invade into the formation to some extent. Now that they have some core samples they will have a better idea of the mineralogy of the reservoir and can plan their drilling and completion fluids to minimise the damage.
