Great conference call at a time where patience is once again required from the already patient shareholder. Listening to the conference call, Amanda is as organized and confident as ever. She does a remarkable job with a “cliff notes” and common sense approach while explaining the many complex processes that come together to create the customer-ready bags of separated rare earths…
The complexity and knowledge needed for RE production absolutely amazes me. Yes, there are new alternative processes being developed and they are sometimes hyped as the next new technology to replaced the arduous process that is currently in use today. Typically these new processes somewhat work as designed but they have scalability and economic issues...
Lynas is a very complicated and dynamic company with many different facets and simultaneous processes. This makes the operation difficult to understand for the average investor. IMO, it is this lack of understanding of engineering and financial fundamentals on the part of the potential investor that contributes to the depressed share price...
It seems many educated and informed investors in Lynas regularly post on this board. It takes time and vision to see the intrinsic value of the assets including plant, property and equipment as well as the IP and experience gathered during the execution of the many projects underway. Those who have followed Lynas for years understand the value and potential of this company something that may be recognized soon…
Bottom line, the share price of Lynas continues to languish due to the complexity of the company and the inability of investors to understand the technical side of the process. As a company, Lynas remains of solid footing and it is reassuring that Amanda is utilizing the slow and low market prices to continue to fine tune the entire process.
Clearly, owning Lynas is a long term investment and it takes patience to maintain long term focus. Perhaps with a new president taking office tomorrow we see increased interest in critical materials, especially RE’s….
