ESOS is the UK response to the overriding EU Energy Efficiency Directive which all member states have to address. Whilst ESOS and the other versions elsewhere such as NEEAP in Italy and NAPE in Germany present massive opportunities for all companies involved in energy management/consultancy, a significant benefit (and a potential huge opportunity) that Ohm presents is with regards to use in existing buildings. The Ohm installation process is extremely simple and therefore isn't impacted by the various heritage type protections that apply to thousands of buildings throughout Europe.
