I'm not sure I can recall anyone specifically calling it out and it getting reduced as a direct result of iPPS but I wouldn't be surprised if that's one of the benefits that can and do occur. Pentosan typically would act in a number of ways such as improved localised blood flow, repair of the cartilage and joint tissues addressing the underlying problem as well as improving cellular matrix in and around the affected areas. Everyone is different and there are definitely some that won't derive efficacy from iPPS.

I would also wait at least till a month or two after her last injection, I have heard of a number of patients deriving benefit quite some time after iPPS treatment concludes.

As far as the itchiness goes, it depends on people's reactions to the sulphur. Usually it subsides pretty quickly (within an hour or less). I also haven't really heard of too many feeling tired as a result of the PPS treatment, but again, it's not impossible and our RugHound has posted on this just now. I'll write this down as a question next time I get to talk to an expert on the matter.
