Plenty of risk and hopes that management will find a way to convert potential as they learn their lessons the hard way in many cases. This is not a blue chip investment today. It is a debt ridden, cash poor under-performer with massive upside "potential" if they can develop any single one of their assets (Umiat, Arck, Sub-salt, UCG and EOR) to anywhere near the theoretical possibility.
