    I prefer the compulsory voting option, it is still be up to the individual what they put on their ballot paper when they go into the voting booth.

    Bogan's can vote for Bogans if that is their choice, our politicians would need to work harder selling their message if they want to win votes, including the Bogan vote.

    We either have a preferential system, or we have a run off system with the two candidates with the highest primary result.

    When you say Australia needs a decade of majority governments, I assume you mean control of both houses. I believe our system makes our government more accountable when they don't have control of both houses, (which I prefer to the alternative).

    To change to non compulsory voting, I believe there would need to be shown clear advantages for Australia's benefit, otherwise the status quo should prevail.
