Man dies after losing both hands in backyard accident.
A Melbourne man has died from blood loss after accidently severing both his hands in a back-yard chain sawing accident.
The problem arrose when the IT executive was unable to gain access to the phone to call for help, or start his car to drive himself to the hospital...he could not even open the front gate of his property to walk for help.
It appears the man lived in a "smart" house, electronically controlled by scanners which would respond to a micro-chip embedded in the mans hands.

lol...I suppose he still could have still swiped the severed hands over the scanner...but I guess without hands, how would he pick them up?
Cheers!
