Revenue is generated by clicks so I have believed for some time that some of the nefarious posters are not here just to down ramp but generate clicks.
They have little to no interest in the specific stock. They will start by posting controversial content and roll with the replies and as the clicks decline will resort to making peace and talk up a stock.
I suspect that these posters would be employed by site owners to generate content.
