hi cogs, thanks for the detailed reply, I made a repair dvd on another laptop, put it in and changed the boot sequence, but it makes a loud beep noise and wont start...
grrrr
it comes up with dues to a recent hardware change windows failed to start..then it beeps and says windows loading files...whilst beeps every 20 secs...
but gets to the same point and freezes
