I have read about your problem, Macs. Clearly it is technology telling you to leave the 21st century, and go back to the 1600's.
Throw your computer and microwave away, as well as all associated technology, (T.V., fridge etc etc). Don't shower, and ditch your current threads for dressware modelled on hessian sacks.
Ferment your alcohol from marijuana seeds (that's something the 21st century is missing out on! Hemp beer!), and make sure you get an extra 7 wives.
As for the mice, don't worry about buying a new one: as you have re-entered the 16th century, there will be a plague of them any tick of the clock, probably carrying the plague.
