you might also try rolling your computer back to BSP2 (before sp2) if you can. sp2 has been no end of problem for me. if you had sp2 installed after sp1 then it can be uninstalled however if sp2 was installed without sp1 then it cant. onj eproblem i had was that if ie was connected to the net i couldnt open a saved file from my hard drive. if i logged of the net then these files could be opened.

also you can have too much anti spyware.
