I had a problem with the clock losing time when I was using a screen saver and also leaving the computer on all the time. When I turned the computer on and off, it seemed to right itself. However, I dont use any fancy screensavers now and it doesn't seem to happen anymore. This, of course may have had nothing to do with it, but it worked for me.
