    Satelite costs were a bit prohibitive...

    yes Privatisation and the Bush Fforrest.....
    We have been advised, as have other regional areas, Im pressuming, of new regional management appointments to facilitate ADSL rollout....
    my Hinterland region in Qld is supposedly upgrading the local exchange to ADSL copper shortly...

    I have a good? 50k download on 56k Modem..
    and believe there is a simple process of pairing modems to double bandwidth if you are stuck..?.
