Guru Nanak alongwith his other two constant companions, Baba Bala (a Historian), a Hindu and Baba Mardana a Muslim(a Musician) ....They visited mecca in the year 1519...They stayed there as a Guest of Imams of Mecca for 1 year...Guru Nanak debated with the Imams of Mecca on all matters including God, Religion, Social, Political and Imams of Mecca wholeheartly agreed that Nanak had won all the debates....

Imam Rukandeen said of Guru Nanak "Hik tey khud Khudai hai, ya to us ka yaar....meanning that Nanak is himself a God or he is the friend of the God"....

Guru Nanak stayed in Medina for 6 months as a guest of the then king Karoon...Guru nanak sent a message to the King of Medina that Nanak wish to speak to you on the gates of the city.....

King Karoon arrived and Guru Nanak was collecting pebbles (stones) from the ground and counting....King questioned Nanak "what are you doing" Guru Nanak told the King that when he will die then he will take these stones with me....King said to Nanak "How the hell you will take these stones with you when you are dead.....Guru Nanak challanged the King Karoon " how the hell you will take your illgotten money while killing the humanity and looting them"....

King Karoon became a follower of Nanak...King Karoon dispersed his all the wealth to the poor....King Karoon requested Nanak to take him as a follower....But Nanak advised him to stay there as a King and be a good King......
