Katoom I'm not sure what IRIS is however Iress remains the fastest and most stable platform available in Australia for most traders. There are better but those generally aren't available to retail.

The Iress platform itself (which comsec offer) rarely has any problems and when it does they generally stem from the ASX servers. The problems that do occur are a result of the retailer, in this case comsec, and not Iress. For example if you take the Iress platform that Morrisons provide and compare that against comsec. Morrisons are bullet proof, it almost never fails, yet comsec has nothing but problems (which it didn't when it was AOT). It's the exact same product, just different retailers.
