    Here's a comsec +ve.

    A few years ago, I had a lot of a stock I wanted to dump. Too much, ASX wouldn't accept my order at the below mkt price, so I had to dribble it out. The initial failure must have set off a trigger in comsec somewhere, because it was accepting my orders, but transactions were occurring below my sell price ( I was on Comsec Pro at the time).

    It took a couple of weeks to sort out, but they were very professional and calm throughout (more so than I was, especially at the start!) and ended up paying full compo of about $800 once they had worked out what it had cost me. No quibbles.

    Every computer system stuffs up sometimes. Humans do too. IMO, it's not the mistake that matters, it is how it is dealt with. Comsec will have to mess up big time before I'll change, after my above experience.
