comsec to 2 min to execute order

Hi guys,

I amended an order today and put a sell on it on Market value and it took Commsec 2 minutes to execute this order.

I phoned them up and complained about it, as this delay costs me approx $900 on this trade.

The operator replied that it was executed just within the 2 min time frame they have set for these transactions.

I find it bizarre as this is an online broker who should imho put the order straight to the ASX for execution.

E-trade has told me that they would put such orders direct into the market.

Does anyone have issues like this or can let me know if E-trade has a faster way to execute orders?
