Jojo I know your pain, I had the same problems with commsec, the orders go through a vetting process to check for manipulation (so they say) at times it took up to 12min!!! to go through, like you I argued hard for compensation as it cost me up to $10,000 on a number of orders, especially on active stocks, it was like I was talking to a brick wall, best they offerd was a few hundred dollars of free brokerage lol, I wont use commsec for trading now as theres always the possibility the order wont go through instantly & they take no responsibility, just have it as a back up account, etrade are fairly reliable & go through within 3seconds usually..
