Mate...open an ING direct savings account!!!
Advantages: Unlike the CBA direct savings account..u dont have to keep a minimum balance to earn 5.25%.
then on T+2, transfer the funds to ur ordinary savings account' at the CBA.
That way, u r earing the FULL rate of interest in ur ING before settlement.
On the 3rd day, cba will debit ur ordinarey savings account.
