I was experiencing several problems yesterday as well (I use windows XP) with the upgrade.
I overcame all the glitches by uninstalling Protrader 1 completely (I hadn't upgarded to the older version of Pro 2 anyway) and then re-installing the new Protrader 2 upgrade from Commsec's website.
It all looks to be working fine since I did this but I did lose all my watchlists etc - no big deal except the new software version is a pain with setting alerts and I find it harder to read the smaller text size.
