Comsec is withdrawing from ASX market maker as of June. This was a secure insured way of CFD. They have obviously decided the risk was to high so from June I will have to join their open CFD trading it sounds like it will be administrated through IG markets. Obviously they are covering themselves in case of a bear sterns moment. Pity the spread was big buy at least the trades were guaranteed! The risk increases. The dependence on volumes is now an issue. Also as with 2008 they can at any time stop shorts of the market and close the trades in case of collapse.
