comsec's t+3 & customer service hell

    I just like to have a whinge about comsec's bad service and what are other people's dealings with them.

    My story:

    Brought FLT & WES (10.7k) on 22/8/11 and sold WES (5.8k) on 23/8/11 hence comsec should charge me $5500 on 25/8/11 but they decided to direct debit me 10.7k on 25/8/11. Hence I only had 6k in my account I was charged $104 fine.





    So first call customer service on 26/8/11
    told customer service about error and was advised I should read about t3 rules and I was wrong and nothing he could do.
    I had to explain Comsec's t3 rules to him but he still says i'm wrong. Said i want it fixed or will trade only with Belldirect, he said you can do that!! Asked to speak to Manager he says not in just call again later??

    Called again on 26/8/11 was advise she will look into to it and call me back

    called back on 29/8/11 as did not get call back, was advised the person on 26/8/11 was sick so she will work it out on paper & call back

    recalled on 30/8/11 asking about my account issues, was advised they will speak to back office to fix it up and give them till 1/9/11

    recalled on 5/9/11 as I only had had $54 refunded and person said he would put the other $54 through.

    finally it seems they will refund my fee but on the account it says GOODWILL GESTURE!!!
