OK Bevter. Yes or No - Its OK for AKK to take on debt to develop?
If YES - then AKK is broke (and assume you mean USA is broke) - which it is - see accumulated deficits.
If NO - then AKK raises equity (debt of a different fashion).
Should it be assumed you've never taken on debt? If there is no debt there is no growth - i.e. the "future" is smaller than today (assumption that debt has interest payment).
Dr. Martenson (author of the Crash Course) explains how, since debt is a claim on future money, it is therefore a claim on future human labor. To put it simply, debt is future consumption taken today. Key Concept 7 is introduced, that "ever-growing debts implicitly assume that the future is going to be larger than the present."
Good for a side political discussion. Exponential numbers (which is any form of CAGR which we see in all presentations) will end badly for all (eventually) when the reset occurs.
