Stevemosh i have the same problems that you have encountered and have emailed and called them about it heaps.
I have PT1 but reckon it looks funny so i persevere with PT2 hoping it will get fixed "any minute now".
The latest problem for me is that the news scrolls itself down and you miss out on the new stuff updating (unless you remember to keep scrolling up).
