Hindalco wanting a larger shareholding could be a possibility. But they practically run the company with their 51% holding, so I don't see any particular advantage. That said, I don't understand these control issues well enough to make an informed judgement.
Re. Dividends - good point Mike. The AUD to INR conversion is favorable supporting the case for sending money to Hindalco. Hindalco may not care for Franking credits. Probably doesn't help them in the Indian context.
Great stock. I will keep holding and let Mr Market realize its value.
