yes, would be interesting to know what the situation re spare refining capacity is in DRC. Agree that it would seem a stupid move by govt to impose this restriction, effective just 90 days later, unless there were sufficient viable alternatives currently available. tgs still likely over 12 months away from having their own plant up and running. presumably to be forced to stockpile ore for over 9 months would have a disastrous effect on cashflow so let's hope they are well advanced in negotiating a local deal.

if this change was announced by govt on 5 april, why are we (potentially) just hearing this from tgs today? surely this should have been price sensitive news immediately back then?
