Ha ha. Kikass, I've tried that before, but it's a very good hint that there are some bots playing. I placed an order the other day, and while my intention wasn't to wipe a line, my order should nevertheless have wiped the line, and left a small bit of overhang on the buy side. The instant my buy order was received by the market, a bot matched out the remaining overhang and cleared it exactly. I've had that happen to me on at least 3 occasions that I know about. Sometimes, it's bots to just play with the price. Other times, it's algorithms that are programmed to either buy or sell everything at a certain price, up to a pre-determined volume.
