Agree that the dispute over contingent consideration mightn't be a material financial issue (might only be a few million dollars or less, peanuts in the context of the overall business), but having senior management in dispute with the business over personal financial outcomes can end up costing the business a lot more than the amount that's being contested if management becomes disengaged. At best it's a minor distraction, and at worst it results in management throwing toys out of the cot and not working as diligently as they should to grow the value of the business - unbelievable as it may seem, i've literally seen highly paid senior personnel sit at their desks playing solitaire and minesweeper for almost 12 months while a remuneration dispute was on foot, and the amount of value destroyed by management reacting in that way certainly exceeded the amount that was being disputed.

Fair points. Hopefully it isn't more than a minor distraction for OMN, but I guess when you have glassdoor reviews like they have, the potential for a worse outcome is something to keep in mind.
