And yet, every week or so, there I am, at a petrol station pumping fuel into my car. I would suggest, just quietly, that that's a "bricks & mortar" experience.
That's only one example of how "B&M" can generate foot traffic (yes foot traffic, of the kind that involves no clicks). And if you can have foot traffic, you have a ready made distribution network - with ready-made economies of scale.
I think it's time we moved on from the binary notion of "bricks or clicks".
