HN, firstly I think you mean UCG not UGC, and if not, then I agree no one focusses on UGC!
UCG is being treated as the new boy on the block, despite years of production elsewhere and increasingly here. As a long term investor, rather than a short term punter, I see no reason to move my considerable investment in UCG. The best proponent in the world heads up Cougar Energy, and he has the support of the best UCG technology in the world.
I was always taught to follow the best, I'm happily doing so right now. CXY will outshine the other two players in this sector over the medium term. I'd far rather have Len's cool, calm and rather under-stated approach, than the LNC "bondesque" one.
The financial's on UCG, alongside the environmental benefits, will be grabbed by all once we are through this current period of pre-production work.
Am I the only one that has noticed that CXY have changed from a doing a "pilot-burn" to doing a "pre-production burn"? Believe me . . . that's a significant change, and those in the know appreciate the subtle change in language.
